Raskin currently serves as President of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association (TMBA) after serving for more than nine years on the TMBA board of directors. He also has served on the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association board and was a member of the Regulation Z Comment Task Force Committee for the national Mortgage Bankers Association.

A native of Dallas, Texas, Raskin earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from University of Tulsa before earning a master’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Dallas.  Raskin currently lives in Plano with his wife Lisa, their children Lauren and Jared, and their dogs Maverick and Chloe.
